G’Day A Day

To help bolster the nation’s mental wellbeing during COVID, Optus reimagined something that’s already part of our everyday lives: the act of saying ‘G’day’. By reframing this behaviour as a simple call-to-action, ‘A G’Day A Day’, we inspired Australians to reach out and brighten someone’s day.

Launching on Sunrise with Ian Thorpe, we set out to create a G’Day A Day, every day with influencers from all spheres of life (Daniel Ricciardo, Julia Gillard, Michael Bolton, Arianna Huffington, Alan Joyce, Ellie Cole, Mia Freedman, Fitzy, Ray Meagher, Scotty James to name a few). After falling in love with the idea, Channel 7 also offered to create a G’Day A Day segment on Sunrise, calling their viewers.
